What is SEO?

SEO ranks web pages with the factors of: relevance, quality, user experience. It’s based on the knowledge of algorithms, optimizing quality content and building backlinks.

The 3 types of SEO

On-Site SEO

Optimization of titles, mets descriptions, headers, keywords, links, images alt tags, internal links

FOR KEYWORDS: Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Moz, Ubbersuggest, ahrefs free keyword generator
STEP ONE- write a list of seed keywords for your business and then generate short-tail and long-tail keywords out of them using ahrefs free keyword generator/keyword planner or others.
STEP TWO -Categorize if the keywords are informational (for learning), navigable(when ppl search for company name, ready to buy), commercial(searcher is interested and want to be educated) , or transactional(ready to buy) to write the right content for the right search intent.
STEP THREE- Find the competitor sites that rank for your keyword, put them into free or paid competitive analysis tools: ahrefs, semrush, moz and look at what keywords they’re ranking for more ideas
STEP FOUR- Multiple pages about the same thing or same keywords is called keyword cannibalization, which can be fixed with a google search or use a seo tool, you can also redirect(consolidate) a page to another page or combine pages, also make sure swap out any internal links after redirect.

SEO friendly structure, mobile optimization, site speed, duplicate issues correction.

Off-Site SEO

Creating backlinks, quality backlink strategies, guest posting, influencer outreach, content promotion

WOM Word of Mouth MARKETING- Organic spoken word, influencer as brand ambassadors, or strategic campaigns to encourage word of mouth for example with social media.

Referral Marketing — Process which though customers refer other friend
Affiliate Marketing —
Give people a percentage of profit when people click on the link they’ve promoted for your company

Sometimes smaller influencers might be better for you, look at comment # not follower #, ask them for statistics

How to find influencers? — 1. Google search 2. search keywords and hashtags in Instagram 3. In Instagram look at suggested 4. View competitors 5. Search with keywords, using keywords everywhere tool

Getting in touch with influencer — 1. Email Subject is very important, example Company x Company: Collaboration offer 2. write about their advantages 3. clearly communicate expectations 4. strong CTA
